Parent of the Year
Congratulations to our Parents of the Year!
Moms of the Year
Kathleen
Nominated by KelseyMy mom is the best mom in the world. She is always taking me wherever I want to go and watching TV with me. Whenever I am sick, she is taking care of me. When my friends and I need a ride somewhere, she takes us. My friends are always saying that your mom is so cool. She wears a bandana. She is always there to help me with my homework. If I have big exams or something, she helps me study. And if I can't remember an answer, she gives me a way to remember. She is the best.
Dads of the Year
Brian Foschetti
Nominated by Paula FoschettiMy husband Brian is the best dad. When Skylar was born, he took Family Leave after mine was over so our daughter could avoid going to daycare until she was 5 months old. Since then, he gets her ready every morning and drops her off so she doesn't have to go at 7 AM. On his day off, he brings her to tumbling class.(He is the only dad). Skylar listens for the garage door to open every night so she can be ready to give him a big hug. For these reasons and many more, I think Brian should be the dad of the year.
D.J. Yeagley
Nominated by Kaitlin & TaylorDJ is a great daddy, he always makes us laugh, he is always sending mommy out for a day to herself. Our daddy is always reading to us, teaching us to dance, swim, color to just be silly. He even has taught us to help clean the house and help mommy with chores around the house. Not to mention that we are girls and daddy has been very helpful with potty training!!! He has sacrificed alot for our family to succeed, he deserves to be the daddy of the year.

He is my Dad and my friend, if we could all be so lucky.

Even when he comes home after working a 12 hour day, he still finds the energy to spend the rest of the night with me. He also helps my friends out when they need it. He steps in whenever help is needed to care for our 22 month old twins whether it be day or night. He always takes care of one every night. Which sometimes means sleeping on an uncomfortable futon. When he isn't working he spends every minute with the kids playing and taking them out.

Tom just retired from the USAF about 2 years ago after 22 years of service. Our children are still very young and I am a stay at home mom. Tom went back to school to finish getting his collage degree while working 2 jobs! He just ended his last class and is graduating with honors, 3.95 avarage! He never complains and always wants us to have everything to make us comfortable and happy. We love him so much!
Tony
Nominated by AndrewMy father moved from Maryland all the way over to Nevada so my mom and I could be closer to family. He gave up a great job and took a job that requires him to travel away from his family for this move. He is the most unselfish man for doing this for his family.
Tony Stack
Nominated by Renee CurtisMy husband is Tony Stack. He is amazing and patient with our children. He works hard all day long and yet still always finds time to spend with our children. We have a 2 year old daughter, Jade, a 4 year old boy, Chris and a 15 year old daughter, Kreshia. Chris has CP in his legs since birth and it is hard for him to walk. My husband still treats Chris with love and respect even though it is frustrating at times to watch Chris struggle with everyday activities. I lose my patience with our three children but no matter what, my husband always tells me to stop, breath, and know that these children are the future and gifts from above. I love my husband for being the best father ever to our children.
