Ahoy Matey! Keep your pirates, ages 5-12, healthy and active this summer as they navigate their way through a Treasure Map by participating in fitness activities. Prizes will be awarded for each island they reach. Advance through all seven islands and win! Donations will be made to schools of children participating in the seven-week fitness program.

Check out our Jr. Tennis Program! We will be holding a Jr. Tennis Open House on September 12th, from 1-5PM! There will be on-court-instruction, drill, open play, games, prizes, snacks, and refreshments!

On Sunday, Steptember 13th we will be holding a Men's 4.0-5.0 Doubles Round Robin from 2:00-4:30PM!

Prenatal Yoga:

Join other moms-to-be for a gentle flowing yoga class! Focus is on mom, baby and a healthy pregnancy. Poses/movements are designed to build stamina and flexibility, relieve discomfort during pregnancy and labor and to prepare body, mind and spirit for child birth. No prior yoga experience is necessary. 60 minutes.

RekTrek

RecTrek is a year-round program for children ages 6 to 12 and keeps them busy Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during track and school breaks at Paradise Recreation Center, 4775 McLeod Drive, near Eastern and Tropicana avenues in southeast Las Vegas. Cost for the camp is $15 per day or $70 per week, per child. There is a 50 percent discount for the third child if enrolling three children from the same family for the entire week. Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify through the Equal Opportunity Board (EOB).

 

Participants in RecTrek enjoy field day activities, guest speakers, themed days, playground free time, arts and crafts activities, cooperative sports, drama and movies.

Locals know winter is upon us when Montelago Village opens its annual, 40-foot-by-70-foot ice-skating rink that is created on a stage that floats atop Lake Las Vegas. The rink can support up to 60 people at a time and uses 110 five-gallon buckets of water and a 12,000-pound freezer to help keep the ice cold.  Mon-Fri 3pm-9pm; Sat-Sun 12noon-9pm
