We encourage parents to set an example for their children by demonstrating different ways to give, through donating toys and clothes or by helping serve meals during the holidays. You will be teaching your children empathy and compassion. Below are ways parents and kids can give back to our community.

Angels Ranch is a 501(c)3 non profit that provides alternative teaching methods which include music and art to children with developmental disabilities. As well as providing therapeutic art classes to the community.
Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada has been in operation for more than 67 years. This organization is dedicated to helping those who are less fortunate. Today the agency encompasses many diverse programs which provide a wide range of social services designed to help people-from infants to seniors. Catholic Charities strives toward the goal of each individual gaining self-sufficiency, independence, and dignity. Catholic Charities has only one focus: to give help and hope to people in need, regardless of race, religion or creed.

Operating in the Las Vegas valley since 2003. Formal foundation (501c3) since 2007. In 2008, we provided almost 4,000 Las Vegas children in need with new shoes, socks and more. We believe we are building a better foundation, one foot at a time.
We're always looking for corporate partners to cohost events and we're also open to partnering with other nonprofit organizations, which serve disadvantaged children.
One out of every 43 homes in Clark County are in imminent danger of being foreclosed on. Most people qualify for HUD based services to stop these foreclosures. We need you to reach out and tell others about our services. We provide FREE forclosure intervention services to those who are in danger of losing their home. Founded by Neighborworks trained counselors to assist Nevada families keep their home. Call our office today and speak with a counselor about options available to homeowners having difficulty making their mortgage payments.
La Leche League is always looking for moms to attend the meetings. We could always use more mothers' experiences. The more moms we have attend the meetings, the more help other moms receive. We are also always in need of donations or people to become members. This keeps our groups up and running.
La Leche League is an international, non-profit organization that encourages mother to mother support with breastfeeding. This is the group to go to if you are a nursing mom, or even expecting a little one soon. Learn the benefits of breastfeeding and how to get off to a great start with your new baby. You do not have to be a member to attend.
